This training will cover basic appellate issues in domestic violence matters, focusing on appeals of family offense and custody orders. Topics will include basic appellate procedure, appellate review of motions to dismiss for failure to state a family offense claim, statues of limitations and family offenses, and major case law on custody and domestic violence.
